While you chew on that puzzle, let me feed you the juicy tale I have uncovered. Have you ever googled ‘Don Jazzy” ? – I have. Same usual search result you get for celebrities, Twitter, Instagram, Wikipedia pages. Just for kicks, I clicked on his Wikipedia page, to find out more about the life of the super successful CEO of Mavin Records.
Something peculiar caught my eyes, I read that Don Jazzy is 33 years old. Apparently the famous producer was born on 26, November 1982. Naturally I got curious, because even Stevie Wonder would tell you that he looks like a man in his 40’s. He looks so old, he could easily pass for Don Corleone in Mario Puzo’s “Godfather”. Come to think of lt, he does remind me of “The Godfather”; I digress.
Whether it was because of the injustice of having a man achieve so much so early in his life; or plain, simple boredom,I decided to do some digging. Hence my quest for Don Jazzy’s true age.
Turns out the debate about Don Jazzy’s real age had been on for a while. It started with the Wikipedia post about him being 46 years old last year. When asked, the Mavin Boss replied
“Wikipedia is not one man. If you go now you can go and edit it. Immediately I put the thing on Instagram, in the space of thirty minutes, they changed the age from 46 to 58 to 164 and back to 4. But I am 32, I will be 33 in November. If you people like they should go and do their digging. I am ugly and I look old, that’s the problem.”
I thought, maybe he has the Benjamin Buttons Syndrome, you know -birthed an old man and growing into a child, I compared pictures from over 10 years. The answer is No, Don Jazzy is not growing younger. I went back to wikipedia, perhaps the musician’s life will clue me into his real age. Could Don Jazzy be lying?
After three hours of internet surfing and searching, you won’t believe what I found- nothing. I decided to call it a loss, shut down my laptop and forget my quest. Then I noticed D’Prince, Don Jazzy’s younger brother, the goody bag dude- yes him. I saw his photograph in one little corner of my screen and I had an idea.
If I could prove that D’prince is 33 years old (he actually claims he’s 26 years), then by that very logic, Don Jazzy cannot be the same age. Ergo, The Don would be a liar.Hope renewed, I checked my MTN data balance to make sure I had enough juice for my new quest, and began surfing the net.
The information you can get on D’prince is limited in comparison with his elder brother. In fact, the only thing I can say for sure about his early life is, he attended Kings College. There is also this minor detail, he claims he is 26 years old. This means when he appeared in “Booty Call” video, he was 18 years old. Anyway, I gave up my quest, saved my browsing data. It was just a fool’s quest for gold. I guess we’ll never know exactly how old Don Jazzy is. He could be a liar who saw age reduction as a form of image branding, or he could actually be just 33 years old.

But they were also good markers of physical age, meaning that those who aged faster also looked older, according to unbiased assessments by random people looking at their photos.”
In plain words, he could just be ageing faster than normal (that doesn’t explain D’prince’s 26 years of age).

Ace female vocalist, Simi today provided an insight into how she deals with negative criticisms targeted at her.
For the past few days, Simi has been rumoured to be romantically involved with Falz, both acts have however come out to clear the air on that, saying they are not in a relationship yet. Although Simihas not hidden her desire to possibly date the hilarious singer.
The “Love Don’t Care” singer poured her mind out for the first time on social media yesterday. She wrote,
“I’ve been feeling quite grumpy and a bit moody all evening (not sure why ). But I just saw this, and it made me feel so much better.

Just yesterday, the media was crammed with news of emotional outburst and suicide attempt by the producer, artiste manager and husband to Tiwa Savage, Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz, and ever since the incident, fans have been waiting for Tiwa’s response.
The award winning singer who bear it all in a video interview said her marriage to her former manager was filled with infidelity, emotional abuse, drug use and mismanagement of funds.
Tiwa Savage admitted their marriage had been troubled for a while now but she has covered up for a lot of his mistakes for the purpose of saving her marriage. “For the past 2 months me and TJ have not been together” revealed the singer.
Tiwa who confirmed to the media that she was pregnant again for Tunji Balogun accused Teebillz of being promiscuous in their marriage, when she stumbled on a whatsapp chat he had with a mystery mistress. However, she mentioned in the video that she bled shortly after she discovered that she was pregnant again but she did not clarify whether or not it resulted in a miscarriage.
In an emotional revelation she emphatically denied Tee Billz’s accusation that she had Sex with Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy, her record label mate Dr. Sid and award winning RnB 2face Idibia. This however raised the question if she ever did before her marriage, as her response did not allude to such. “I will say for the record I have never cheated on my husband, never, not with Don Jazzy, not with Dr. Sid, not with 2face, not with anybody. I am willing to take a lie detector test” said Tiwa Savage.
The singer, who revealed that Teebillz has integrity issues especially with matters that got to do with money while he was managing her, claimed that Teebillz had on several occasion swindled her of her hard earned money on several shows he got for her. However, she admitted that he hustled for him to become who she is today.
She also made claims that Tee Billz lives an expensive, wild and sadly unaffordable lifestyle which has embarrassed her several times. In the interview Tiwa Savage also mentioned that the Economic & Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and his debtors are on the hunt for him because of his N45m alleged debt. She however didn’t mention who he was indebted to.
Accusing him of taking hard drugs, Tiwa affirms that she had caught Teebillz on several occasion sniffing hard drugs “just before we got married I didn’t know he was taking cocaine, I was upstairs working in the studio, then I came downstairs to the kitchen to get something, then I saw him sniffing cocaine from a white paper on the table”. She added
The Marvin first lady, who claimed she was tired of the abuse, the lies and the emotional torture, confirmed that the marriage was over and she was going to focus on raising her son, Jamal “I don’t care at this point if I don’t ever get married again, I care about being happy, I care about being there for Jamal,” admitted the Mavin Records singer.
The Kelekele Love crooner who is accused her erstwhile manager of being an infidel, drug abuser and a jealous husband categorically affirmed that the marriage is over “I am sorry but the marriage is over”

HKN signee B-Red is being dragged for filth by his fans. Apparently the words, “Everybody take a chill pill, things are not that serious” does not apply them.
B-Red who is known more for accompanying his cousin Davido on tour as a back-up singer and appearing in his music videos than he is known for his own music, posted the meme below threatening to block anyone who talks shit on his page. But the fans are not letting him live this down.
The threat struck a number of his fans as suspicious as it came out of nowhere, given that he did not appear to have any history of social media altercations to speak of. To his followers, the move seemed more like an attention-grabbing attempt for his new single “Blessings”.
The meme which he captioned “haters” has garnered him more hate than love, and perhaps, some of the sought after attention.

Drake ’ s ‘ One dance ’ shines the light on the Nigerian pop singer’ s International presence.
Wizkid has become the first Nigerian artist to emerge on Billboard ’ s Twitter Last 24 hours chart courtesy of his feature in Drake ’ s ’ One dance ’ song.
Two days ago, Drake dropped two singles, Pop style featuring Kanye West and Jay Z , and ‘ One dance ’ featuring Wizkid and Kyla. On One Dance, the 6 God gets assists from Wizkid , who he worked with last year , and Kyla , sampling the Crazy Cousinz remix of her song , ‘ Do You Mind ’ . This raises the bar a lot higher for the star pop singer helping to improve his brand visibility . The tune ‘ One dance ’ features production by Ninteen 85 with co- production credits by 40 .
Wizkid already featured Drake in a remix to his ‘ Ojuelegba ’ fan favourite and award – winning song . The single ‘ One dance ’ is off Drake ’ s forthcoming album , following his successful “ What a time to be alive” released in 2015 .
The collaboration was said to have come about thanks to Skepta , a friend of Wizkid , who introduced the song to
Drake during a Wireless Music Festival held in London. The crossover tune has gone on to have other covers and
refixes with top artistes such as Sarkodie.
The star pop singer has had other international collaborations preceding this one with Drake . He has worked with Grammy winner Angelique Kidjo , Ty Dolla $ign , and recorded a hook with Coldplay ’ s Chris Martin for pop star Rihanna. A performance with Chris Brown was in the works also in South Africa at the ‘ X Tour ’ , so was another recording with UK star Tinie Tempah, and Norwegian pop icons Nico & Vinz . Just a day after Prophet TB Joshua claimed he predicted the hijacking of an EgyptAir plane, he has released another controversial YouTube clip claiming he predicted the Indian deadly bridge collapse.
“Pray for this country, India,” Joshua is seen telling congregants at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).
“I am seeing a very huge bridge broken and when a bridge divides into two, what do you think will happen to everybody?” he added,describing the location of the bridge as ‘close to the river’.
Joshua went on to say the incident would elicit ‘Breaking News’ headlines worldwide, calling on people to publicise his message online as a means of warning the Indian public prior to the impending calamity.
“I am seeing this happen; they should take care of Thursday, Wednesday,” he added. “Please, pray for this nation… Innocent people going.”
On Thursday 31st March 2016, a bridge under construction in Kolkata, a city built next to the Hooghly River, tragically collapsed, killing scores of people and injuring hundreds of others.
The accident took place in an area near Girish Park, one of Kolkata’s most densely populated and busiest neighbourhoods. Terrifying surveillance footage of the moment the bridge collapsed showed pedestrians desperately fleeing for their lives before a mass of solid concrete came crashing down.
Shocking images posted online showed bloodied bodies trapped under concrete slabs with hands and legs sticking out from twisted debris.
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that he was “shocked and saddened” by the tragedy and the Indian army were quickly mobilised to support the rescue team.
The death toll has been placed at 22 but is still expected to significantly rise as the rescue mission proceeds into the night.

The ‘Ghost’ actress’ Whoopi & Maya collection of balm, tincture, sipping chocolate and bath soak will be available only in California to people with medical marijuana cards and are to be targeted at women as the items aim to reduce the pain and cramps from periods.
Whoopi told USA Today newspaper: ‘I want to go nice and slow with this. I don’t want this to be a joke to people. It’s not a joke to women.’
The 60-year-old star has teamed with Maya Elisabeth for the new range, and her partner believes the range is ripe for success as women have been herbal healers for generations, and she doesn’t think their products are any different.
